Project Overview
This project involved the upgradation of the Panipat–Shamli stretch of NH-709D from junction with NH-44 at Panipat to its intersection with NH-74 at Kotwali. The work included widening the highway to two/four lanes with paved shoulders, construction of major and minor bridges, and erection of precast girders and deck slabs.
Advanced formwork design and large-scale precast fabrication enabled precise, high-quality construction, ensuring the highway meets national highway standards for durability, safety, and traffic efficiency.
Key Achievements
Construction of 15 major and 14 minor bridges along the corridor
Installation of 798 pre-tensioned girders, 10,140 precast planks, and 1,712 precast beams
Complete structural works including open foundations, piers, pier caps, deck slabs, and girder erection
Timely project completion with adherence to NHAI quality and safety norms
Outcome
The completed Panipat–Shamli highway now provides smooth, safe, and high-capacity transit, significantly reducing travel time and improving regional connectivity. The project underscores our expertise in large-scale highway widening and bridge construction along busy national corridors.
