Project Overview

This project involved the upgradation of the Panipat–Shamli stretch of NH-709D from junction with NH-44 at Panipat to its intersection with NH-74 at Kotwali. The work included widening the highway to two/four lanes with paved shoulders, construction of major and minor bridges, and erection of precast girders and deck slabs.

Advanced formwork design and large-scale precast fabrication enabled precise, high-quality construction, ensuring the highway meets national highway standards for durability, safety, and traffic efficiency.

Key Achievements

  • Construction of 15 major and 14 minor bridges along the corridor

  • Installation of 798 pre-tensioned girders, 10,140 precast planks, and 1,712 precast beams

  • Complete structural works including open foundations, piers, pier caps, deck slabs, and girder erection

  • Timely project completion with adherence to NHAI quality and safety norms

Outcome

The completed Panipat–Shamli highway now provides smooth, safe, and high-capacity transit, significantly reducing travel time and improving regional connectivity. The project underscores our expertise in large-scale highway widening and bridge construction along busy national corridors.
